Business Licenses: Walton County does not have occupational licenses. Certain professions are required to be licensed by the Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation.

Contractor Licenses: Contractors are required to obtain a Walton County Contractors License in order to work in Walton County.

MyFloridaMarketPlace is the state’s online purchasing system that connects state agencies with vendors.

Grants: Many grant programs now have reduced funding or have been eliminated completely, especially at the state and local level. There may be assistance from federal grants for certain types of businesses.

Loans: The Small Business Administration has a variety of loan programs, and the University of West Florida Small Business Development Center can help you put together your loan proposal.
